There are six different types of Total available. African Cichlid Total is for African rift lake cichlids requiring hard alkaline water. Amazon Total is for Amazon basin and Congo fish which require naturally soft acidic water. Freshwater Total is for freshwater tropicals in general, maintaining a neutral pH value of 7.0. Goldfish & Koi Total maintains a pH value of 7.6. Marine Total is for marine fish requiring a pH value of 8.2 to 8.3. Reef Total is for marine fish, corals, and invertebrates found in the oceans reefs requiring a pH of 8.3. Reef Total contains extra amounts of available calcium, iodine, strontium, and molybdenum for the proper development of corals and invertebrates.
